Founder & Director — Everything Is Learning, Inc. — Nairobi, Kenya   (2023–present)     (el.africa)
  • Founded and self-funded ($130K+) an innovative early-childhood organization. Managed daily operations, budgeting, and a team of 21 staff across two sites. Transitioned the project to local management, continuing to lead it remotely in my spare time.
  • Authored a comprehensive training manual and standardized operating procedures, then trained staff to consistent quality standards.
  • Built kenyaccounting (github.com/bhrdj/kenyaccounting), an open-source Python payroll system, to automate payroll.
  • Partnered with Mount Kenya University on a formal evaluation study (n=50); managed research licensing and regulatory compliance.
Data Scientist / Consultant — Viebeg Technologies — Rwanda / remote   (Jun 2022–May 2023)
  • Health-tech firm supplying data-driven medical-supply procurement to 500+ hospitals across Rwanda, Kenya, and DRC.
  • Identified and resolved product-ID fragmentation across three data silos by leading a physical warehouse reconciliation — aligning physical inventory to system records.
  • Consolidated financial records for investor reporting and designed an ROI estimation model for hospital equipment purchases.
  • Led the data/ICT workstream for Johnson & Johnson due diligence; deal closed as a 50% investment by J&J Impact Ventures.
  • Recruited, built a technical interview for, hired, and trained a local successor to take over the role.
